Awful experience, ignored all specialists that I attended and long process suddenly rushed through after their appointed doctor recommendations, during that appointment we moved rooms three times at the doctors request (aircon related), he took a private phone call and I had to sit and watch him search the room then leave to find items to test on me, feel abandoned this is just a business, pity they cant even work out losses! Would give a minus if i could, you have forgotten there are actually injured people not commodities behind the emails and calls.

My case worker was not available when I unexpectedly showed up at the commission ..however the lady who came to help me was wonderful,she assured me that we would have an outcome ..and it a huge mental relief to get a positive outcome.Thanks Robyn

I have had the best experience with this organisation. My accident as a pedestrian was in December 2020. They have been supportive and respectful. My case officer Roger has kept me informed and has returned my calls and answered my queries promptly. My settlement was fair. I felt safe and always felt supported by them. Thank you to the insurance commission of WA.

Doesn't cover you for what they say you are! Only costing the TAX payers a lot more money! It's a complete load .... That they force you to pay for it! However when it's time for them to pay up. They pay for lawyer who argued with proven fact! And that made me have two more crashes! As I wasn't driving! Costing 20 time's the money! Had they made a fair offer in the first place! 2_3_4... Wouldn't have happened! And the resulting repercussions! (PAYBACK)

Can we have minus ratings please. Then an accurate rating could be awarded! When you need help, theirs’ is distinctly lacking. When you seek direction, they provide misdirection. If you need communication, they fail, ignore or generally procrastinate in providing any answers. If you want to be treated like a decent human being, they will dehumanise. You are treated so abysmally by people who have no interest of helping claimants. They make life as difficult as possible in the hope that you will withdraw any claims.And thanks for the computer generated reply for my motor insurance claim ... BTW it wasn’t for a motor claim.And as a footnote, thanks for being so uncooperative in failing to send the relevant information to Medicare reclaims. The malevolence which exists in this organisation is truly, truly sad to behold

Bad experience with ICWA. They have been dragging their feet for month. When I call the case officer, they seem to be confused with my case most of the time. Took me a while to get my medical expense paid. I wish I never had to deal with them again.

Since my car accident in Sept last year i have had constant errors made with my case, possibly due to my case being passed from one person to another. Apart from the initial phone call when this all happened, I have had no personal contact about changes to my case by phone or email and unless I call them myself I have no idea what’s going on. My physio called early in 2022 to say that ICWA was withholding payment for $900 worth of physiotherapy accounts built up from last November 2021 and according to them their reasoning was because ‘my Physio never sent a treatment plan’ to them. This is an absolute lie as he showed me the dated, sent email on his computer. And if this was the case, why did they take months to let someone know?! And why was I not notified by email when this occurred so I was aware ?! Just to satisfy their request and so they would pay the accounts, my Physio sent it again. At the time I called ICWA myself to sort it out and they said they would cover the outstanding accounts. I have now had a phone call again from my Physio (not ICWA) and I am having the same issue. ICWA have said they sent my Physio an email in January stating they would only cover four more Physio treatments but I have not ever been told this and was not sent any email to verify this was happening!. The complete ineptitude of the staff working at ICWA is astonishing. They also make you feel as if you are rorting the system when in fact you are just trying to regain your health before some reckless person plowed into your car out of nowhere. It has been proven that this accident was not my fault and I can assure the case workers at ICWA that I would rather be doing anything else than having to have physiotherapy and visit their doctors, and make constant calls to them to prove that I need it. Where is the compassion and understanding when people are injured through no fault of their own??? Sort out your policies and procedures ICWA and employ more qualified, competent and compassionate staff!

My claim with the ICWA has been ongoing for some time and I am wowed by the service I have got. My claims person (Roger) makes sure I am supported, heard and checked in on on a regularly basis. I have never had to deal with anything like this and I am thankful for the compassion I've received. I'm sorry to hear others don't feel that way but I couldn't ask for better customer service.

I got hit by a car while cycling in 2018 and ICWA were brilliant. Helpful and responsive, and having 100% of my physio and GP bills covered was a real weight off my mind (and off my finances).I've read the negative reviews but personally, I had the exact opposite experience. I couldn't praise them enough.

My couch and dining table was damaged during a recent removal process and upon claiming for the damages (approximately $1800 worth of furniture) I was offered $116.50 in compensation after a lengthy and tedious process. I wasn't happy with the outcome and when I argued this with the claims officer, she reviewed it again with another offer of $616.50. I also declined this, asking where they had got their figures from as it was almost as if they were pulling numbers out of thin air in a desperate attempt to not pay of for the damage caused.However, after a further two weeks and some additional discussion and mediation ICWA finally got back to me with an agreeable sum to cover my loss.Thank you for finally getting back to me and for taking the time to work out a resolution.
